The client wanted to renovate and modernize their back yard. They really love straight lines and the formal look it entails. However, they also wanted to make it inviting and relaxing. The pool and koi pond are the main features (designed and installed by Jim Courage Pools). The landscape design piggy-backed on this linearity by adding concrete cast-in-place pavers paths that led to a secondary patio as well as a raised vegetable garden. The slightly raised secondary patio features an outdoor fireplace. The homeowner has a great eye for details and was able to find rustic fencing material that blends seamlessly with the colors of the back yard.
